We are all ready for the holiday season. We have a large collection of Christmas collectibles, dishes, ornaments, decorations and more. We have a store full of awesome gifts. Retirement Sale

One of our consignors is having a retirement sale this month. She has everything in her area 25% off. She has alot of buttons, glassware, dishes,  Liberty Blue, children's treasures, artwork, and other treasures.

Aurora Quilt Show

"SEEING RED" Quilt Show Ends Sunday!
  
Don't miss out! Aurora Colony Museum's 40th Annual Quilt Show, "Seeing Red", ends Sunday, Oct.21 at 4 pm. Over 90 new, vintage and antique quilts including some from the "vaults" of the Museum will are on display. AND-- the "Country Store" inventory of fabrics, quilting supplies and many vintage items are now HALF PRICE! Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Admission is $6.00 per person, groups of 10 or more at $5.00 each, and students $2.00. Proceeds benefit the Old Aurora Colony Museum exhibits and ongoing historical research. Grab your friends (quilters or not) and come on up to historic Aurora, Oregon's first National Historic District. Make a day of it-- there are restaurants and plenty of antique shops in the "Antiques Capital of Oregon". When the Quilt Show is not our featured event, the Old Aurora Colony Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to 4 pm and Sunday 12 noon to 4 pm. The Museum is closed Mondays and holidays. Admission is $5.00 for seniors (60+) and AAA members; $6.00 for adults; and $2.00 for students. Children 5 years of age and under are free. Tour groups are welcome. New Dealer Moving In

We have a brand new antique dealer moving in this week. They are bringing lots of antique furniture, glassware, dishes, primitives, paper and more. They are mostly moved in but will be bringing in more in the next couple of weeks.

Goodbye Summer...Hello Autumn

This past summer was a hot and dry one but we were kept busy with travelers and our local customers.
We are looking forward to a cooler and even busier fall and winter season. We have several new dealers/consignors in the store so make sure to come visit very soon. I will be uploading new pictures very soon and hope to do another video if I can figure out my new camera.
We still have everything from primitives to mid century modern treasures all over the store.
Need a break from school already? Come take a short drive just past Wilsonville to Aurora the "Antique Capital of Oregon. We are all kid and pet friendly.

Colony Days is Almost Here...Saturday August 11th 8am-4pm

Its that time of year again when all the great antique and collectible dealers come out to Aurora, Oregon to sell all their great finds and treasures. Great place to find that certain something you can live with out, add to your collection, find inspiration, start a new collection. Bring the whole family out for the day.

Pancake Breakfast, 7-11am.  American Legion Hall.  All you can eat benefit sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary.  $7.00 adult, $3.50 12 & under.
1K/5K Walk/Run, 1K Run starts at 7:30am, 5 K walk starts at 8:30am.  Register at 6:45am and begin at the Old Aurora Colony Museum, 2nd & Liberty Streets. $20/5K walk, $10/1K run. Proceeds benefit the Aurora Concerts in the Park series. (See blog at right for more details.) Have a blast running or walking the streets of historic Aurora while the rest of the town sleeps! You may register online at www.racenorthwest.com and sleep a little later yourself.
OUTDOOR ANTIQUES FAIRE, 8am-4pm.  Shop for authentic antiques and curious vintage finds on the streets of our historic downtown then cool down in our nationally famous AIR CONDITIONED shops.  Great decor from country primitives to midcentury modern and industrial wonders.  Special foods all day, from “fair” foods to gourmet specialties and freshly made desserts.  Shops open until 5pm.
Parade, 11am.  Find a shady spot on Main Street or Liberty Street in our lovely residential neighborhoods and watch our proudly presented parade, complete with Little Miss Pioneer and her court.  Parade makes a loop from the city park on Liberty to the Main Street side.
Living History at the Old Aurora Colony Museum, 11-4.  After you dig around in their annual sidewalk rummage sale, step into the 19th century courtyard and see costumed demonstrators and the popular “ring of fire” wheelwright.  Free admission.  What a show!
Art Show & Sale, 10-5.  American Legion Hall.  You’ll find paintings, photography, textile art as well as three dimensional pieces at this popular annual art show.  Cast your ballot for the Peoples Choice Award.  Take home your favorite piece!  Presented by the Aurora Arts Association.
Celebration in the Park, 5-10pm.  Aurora City Park.  Food, wine and beer presented by Pheasant Run Winery or bring your own picnic dinner while you first listen to the local music spotlight then let your hair down with music by the special entertainment of 10 piece party band “Big Night Out”.

Aurora Colony Days--Outdoor Antique Faire-Sat. Aug 11th

Aurora Colony Days is almost here...Saturday August 11th from 8am--4pm we
will be having the Outdoor Antiques Faire.
We still have some spaces open for dealers who want to join us.

Open 4th of July

Come out and join us on the Fourth of July we will be open from 11am-5pm. Most of the other stores in town will be open as well. Something fun to do before all the barbeques and fireworks. Its suppose to be a nice day so bring the kids and the dogs out for some treasure hunting.

Antique Bottle and Collectible Show Feb 17-18

We have a nice show going on in Aurora this weekend. Its right across the street and The American Legend. They will have lots of tables set up with a variety of antique bottles and collectibles. They will also have a pottery and marble expert to answer questions you might have.
Stop by before or after you come see the new dealers that have moved in.
Our dealers are always changing things around and adding antique and vintage treasures to their spaces.
We have everything from glassware to tools and everything in between.
Its suppose to be cold and rainy this weekend so why not spend it inside a warm and dry antique store adding to or starting a new collection.

Sprout Garden Boutique is Here

Sprout has moved from the back building to the front shop. She has a wonderful space filled with live plants, containers, watering cans, gloves, other plant / garden related goodies. She also has some vintage and antique items as well. As the weather warms she will be bringing in more for your spring planting and sprucing up your yard and home.
Suzy is a master gardener so if you have any questions I can put her in touch with you to answer just about any gardening question you might have.

Ground Hog Hunt Feb 4th 10-4

Its Feb again and you ll know what that means. Punxsutawney Phyllis woke up is hiding all over Aurora, Oregon. Win "Aurora Bucks" by finding the groundhogs hidden in Antique and Specialty shops all over Aurora.

I am not sure where she will be hiding this year so you better come out and take a look. Bring the whole family.

We also have a flea market in the Aurora American Legion Hall from 9am to 4pm.
 Its suppose to be sunny out so its gonna be a beautiful day to finally get out of the house.
 Some shops in town have daily and monthly specials going on.

We have a couple of new dealers inside the shop now.
