The Holidays are coming--10 days and counting

Malls are boring and crowded so why not come out to Aurora and find some treasures for your friends and family this year. We have alot of one of a kind items. Everything from beautiful jewelry, clothes, accessories, glassware for the ladies and tools, lamps, furniture for the guys.
Everyone has decorated for the holiday season. We have a nice collection of holiday decorations and collectibles in all shapes, sizes and price ranges.

Ida Red's Antiques is Here

Ida Reds has started to move in this past weekend. They have tools, art work, glassware, small furniture pieces and much more. They will be bringing in more over the next couple weeks just in time for the holiday season.

New Dealer Found..

We have found an awesome new dealer for our open space in the mall. They will be moving in the first week of December. Make sure you come and visit to see all the new goodies. They have been in the business for quite a few years so I am excited to see what they will do in our mall. They will be bringing in antique tools, kitchenware, glassware, furniture and much more.

The weather might be rainy and blustery but its warm and cozy out  in Aurora. We are celebrating the holidays this weekend with specials, treats and alot of holiday antiques and collectibles. If you don't want to do the whole black friday craziness or want to relax after all the mall venture out to Aurora. Have people on your list that collect or enjoy antiques and collectibles? We are a great place to look and find treasures in all shapes and sizes.
We have several dealer that have brought in great antique Christmas decorations, collectibles, gift items, jewelry and much more o make your holiday sparkle. Be original and buy someone you love a treasure that cant be found anywhere else.

Holiday Hours-----Shop till you Drop

We are opening up seven days a week for the holiday season or maybe longer. I will be putting up a tree soon and filling it with all sorts of decorations that you can buy right off the tree..or even under it. It might be cold out but its nice and warm out in Aurora. Most of the shops are within walking distance so the cold isn't bad when you get to warm up and shop for your loved ones. Get here early for all sorts of gift ideas.

Consignor-Dealer Wanted

We are in search of an antique/collectible dealer who wants a space. We have a 165 sq ft space available. Its a nice sized room with alot of wall space and light at the front of the shop. Great way to make some money without having to do alot of work. You bring in the stuff and either you arrange everything or I can do it for you.
Stop by when we are open or make an appointment with me to see the space available.  We have smaller ones available also.

 And come visit us now that the leaves are changing and the weather is still nice. Enjoy the crisp in the air.

New Dealer has Arrived

Our newest dealer has arrived and is finishing up with her space this weekend. She has a nice mix of antiques, collectibles and vintage treasures. Come out and enjoy the crisp feeling of fall and watch the leaves turn. Wont be long before winter gets here.

New Dealer has arrived..

We have been doing alot of moving things around this month already. And to add to the fun we have a new dealer/consignor that has come in with lots of treasures. She is still moving in and getting things ready but asap I will post some pictures and maybe do another store tour. Just because its cold outside doesn't  mean you cant come out and enjoy shopping in Aurora. All the shops are warm and cozy. Most are getting ready for fall and the holiday season.

Fall is Here

The leaves are starting to change and its getting cooler. The pumpkins will soon be all around us. Out in Aurora we are getting ready for the chill in the air. Most of us have our scarecrows out. Why not add something special to your wardrobe by getting a new hat or spice up the house with a new piece of furniture. The holiday parties are just around the corner so come out a pick up a piece of nice bling to make you sparkle. We are still painting and rearranging plus adding some new and exciting things to the store. And forget to visit the other stores and eateries in town. Amy from For You Only is baking cookies and pies everyday. I can say from personal experience. YUMMY..

Painting has begun...

We have started painting our lovely antique store...I will post some pictures soon....Say goodbye to the magenta trim and hello to hunter green..Painting outside is s great way to get something done and get a tan..I am enjoying the painting process so far except for a tiny misstep involving a ladder. We hope to have it completed in time for Colony Days on Aug. 13th. I have also had Susie from Sprout Garden Boutique help me with some planting up front also. I have not killed any of the plants yet. She has a degree in horticulture so she really knows her plants. Her shop is located right behind Hwy. 99e Antique Mall..so convenient.
Our dealers are also getting ready for Aurora Colony Outdoor Antique Faire..we are rearranging, adding new things and putting things on sale...some dealers will be running special sales through the whole Colony Days weekend...Bring the whole family for a fun day out in the beautiful Oregon sunshine..

Aurora Colony Days is Coming

We are all getting geared up for our annual Aurora Colony Days.  Its Saturday August 13th from 8am-4pm..We have spaces still available for rent. Call Jan Peel at Home Again Antiques 503-678-0227 for more information.

Its a great day of fun for the whole family. 

We will have quality antique dealers from around the northwest, food booths, art show/sale-10-5, pancake breakfast-7-11, Parade-11am, Free admission to live Demos of Living History at Aurora Colony Museum,
Live music and evening barbeque in the park.

Ground Hog Day..

I don't know if  the ground hog saw his shadow and we have more rain or sunshine coming but either way we are out here in Aurora waiting for spring to come. We had a wonderful ground hog day weekend and saw lots of new faces. I hope everyone enjoyed hunting for the ground hog and visiting all the shops.  I hope to see you back again very soon. I have added some new pictures to the page today. We have also been doing some rearranging of spaces and even added on. What used to be a walk in cooler from the old restaurant is now a room full of antiques. In the next month or so new and different things will be coming in. We are still planning on painting and updating the outside as soon as the rain stops for more than a week..See you soon...Have a great spring time..
